CWC17 is concluded and I'm pleased to introduce the winning clues,
so here they are:

Word 1 (submitted by msm@src.dec.com):

A million low women turn a trick. (9)

Word 2 (submitted by Paul Asente):

Risque frieze ends in an embrace. (7)

From these, I'm following tradition and choosing Paul Asente's clue for
the harder word as the overall winner. The judging for this contest was
brutal; different judges with different tastes might very well have
chosen other clues to win this contest. I chose these since they read
very nicely, they were short, and they didn't use straight anagrams.

Anyway, I'll post all of the clues submitted in a later post.

                      -- Yours in Obralgnrax,

                         Matt Hudelson

P.S. Congratulations to Paul. I'm looking forward to CWC18.
