Sources here were recovered from the PDF files in the parent directory and are stored in canonical Unicode UTF-8 format. Utilities exist to convert from this into formats accepted by various Algol 60 compilers and formatting utilities, as well as HTML for online browsing. I have not yet syntax-checked the sources against a compiler (or my own formatter/syntax checker, algolps9). To do so I'll need to export them in a suitable ASCII format. I will also have to handle calls to external procedures otherwise we should expect a lot of undeclared procedure calls. The Algol60 headers given in the Statal document are unlikely to be supported by anything modern. Note there is one file (41560) which uses a construct I have only seen in Coral66 until now: r̲e̲a̲l̲ p̲r̲o̲c̲e̲d̲u̲r̲e̲ POWER(X)TO:(N); v̲a̲l̲u̲e̲ X, N; This may not compile. However rewriting it in standard Algol 60 will not be a problem. The call is standard: POWER(PHI(U + T) - PHI(U), N - 1) So far I have only converted Statal I. It took about 3 days.
