The N*.20.txt files were processed to extract the Algol sources, which were then converted to html in files SOURCES.a60 and SOURCES.html Most of the other files in this directory are the Algol60 to HTML converter/prettyprinter. (btw if you're interested, the source of Algol's original SOAP program is in: http://www.gtoal.com/languages/algol60/KDF9/soap.a60 - warning - there's a fair bit of embedded KDF9 assembly language, it's not pure Algol60 so resurrecting it might be a bit tricky ) At this point I forget where the N*.20.txt Numal files came from. I'm pretty sure they were given to me by someone rather than being found on the net. Some years after I did this project, more usable forms of the NUMAL library appeared on the net, which are now mirrored here in subdirectories cwi.nl and w1.ira.inaf.it Other sources to explore are http://algol60.org/ and http://www.softwarepreservation.org/projects/ALGOL
