These are example grids taken from various sources.

metro*.grid - The Boston Metro
tech*.grid - The MIT Tech
times*.grid - The New York Times
hard*.grid - modifications of some of the above to make them difficult
             to fill.

Note that the grids are not copyrighted, though of course particular
fills are (according to the nytimes).
