Edinburgh Computer Science undergraduate from 1978 to 1982.  Stints with Steve Salter's Wave Power Project from about 1976 to 1981.  On graduation, went to work with PeterRobertson, IreneBuchanan and JohnGray at Lattice Logic Limited.  Part of the group that spun out [http://www.3l.com 3L Ltd] from Lattice Logic Limited in 1987.  Stayed with 3L until 2001, when the remaining staff broke up to pursue their solo careers (Peter still runs 3L as a one-man business).

Now an independent consultant/contractor, still in Edinburgh.
