In light of the various new laws affecting data in the UK, we are taking this opportunity to more formally redo an exercise which was done semi-formally early in the project. Please initial each statement below that you agree with next to the bullet, and sign the entire document at the foot.

I wish to be shown a listing of any files which were in my file area that have been preserved and I will make a specific list of those which I want to have released to the Edinburgh Computer History Project.
You may release the directory information for my file area to the Edinburgh Computer History Project but not any files without my explicit consent.
You may release both the directory information for my file area to the Edinburgh Computer History project along with any files they request from that area. I entrust them with the task of removing any personal information that they happen to find before they release the files in a public area.

The statements above apply to:

The EMAS archives
The Filestore (APM) archives
The VMS archives
The DEC System 10 archives
All of the above plus any others which may be discovered.

To limit this to historical data only, the permissions above apply solely to files from the year 1993 and earlier.
